It's not very often I get to wear boots down here in South Florida. So, anytime I'm travelin' North, I make sure to take a couple pairs with me.
Tomorrow, I take off on my first solo Country Fried Pickin' trip! I think I've already packed 3 pairs of boots. My brother and his wife recently moved from St. Louis to Knoxville, Tennessee, so I'm going up to visit. I was originally gonna fly, but then I thought, "How would I get all my junkin' scores back home?!"
It didn't take much thinkin' to decide I would drive. That way I could "pick" my way up there, as well as my way back. And I'll have space for any goodies I find while I'm there! Surely there'll be some ridiculously incredible vintage Dolly memorabilia?!
